Common questions

How do I read a page of sheet music?
On Home, tap Open sheet music → Choose a photo and pick a photo of the page, taken straight on with the page filling the frame. For a piece several pages long, pick all the pages, in order. Treat the result as a strong first draft and check it against the page.

How do I open a Guitar Pro or MusicXML file?
Save the file to the Files app, then tap Open sheet music → Guitar Pro or MusicXML file.

How do I slow a piece down or loop it?
Open the piece, then drag the speed slider (25% to 125%). Tap Practice for the A–B loop, speed trainer, count-in and click.

What is free, and what does the purchase unlock?
The tuner, metronome and practice log are free, and so is playing the built-in pieces. Your first three new pieces are free. One purchase unlocks everything for good; there is no subscription.

I bought Woodshed on another iPhone.
Open the unlock screen and tap Restore purchase.
